Breastfeeding Friendly Worksite Project A grant from the New Mexico Breastfeeding Task Force allowed us to purchase several privacy screens to encourage and support worksite breastfeeding. These screens give mothers extra privacy at their worksite to pump milk for their infants. Privacy Screens are available for breastfeeding mothers who plan to continue breastfeeding when they return to work and need to create a private space at their work to pump. Employers may also request a privacy screen to provide a private space for employees who are breastfeeding and would like to pump at work. |

BAN THE BAGS! The Pueblo of Isleta Breastfeeding Task Force and Isleta WIC Program will begin to collect the Formula Advertising bags that new mothers receive when they give birth to their baby, and trade them out for a Breastfeeding Friendly diaper bag. All formula diaper bags collected will be returned to the hospital from which they came! For more information on the National Ban the Bag project, see: www.banthebags.org. |
